The Litchfield Hills are home to 15 golf courses of varying length, difficulty, and charm. There are 6 public courses, and 9 private.

Candlewood Valley Country Club - 18 holes - New Milford, CT
Eastwood Country Club - 9 holes - Torrington, CT
Crestbrook Park Golf Course 18 holes - Watertown, CT

Torrington Country Club - 18 holes - Goshen, CT
Litchfield Country Club - 9 holes - Litchfield, CT
Lake Waramaug Country Club - 9 holes - New Preston, CT
Norfolk Country Club - 9 holes - Norfolk, CT
Sharon Country Club - 9 holes - Sharon, CT
Bull's Bridge Golf Club - 18 holes - South Kent, CT
Washington Country Club - 9 holes - Washington, CT

As you will have noticed there are 6 18 hole golf courses, compared to 9 9 holes courses. This may come as a surprise to many people from outside New England, but through out new England there is a great number of quaint, little 9 hole courses, private and public a like.

The First Message

I created this blog, first as an experiment because I recently have become interested in exploring the uses of the internet. The second reason is that i found that there is not a well maintained site, that lists, and reviews the many wonderful golf courses across Litchfield county. I also plan to provide local golf news.
